I'm about ready to replace my Olympus 100-rs. Just to get more megapixels.
I'm wondering what would offer the same quality

I use the zoom all the time to shoot soccer games, so the stabalization is important to me.

I never stray from the preset settings so being able to change f stops and such is not important.

I'm a bit of a klutz so tiny is out. I'd love to be able to use a shutter cable (like my old k-1000)

Quality is top priority, I love the 100-RS quality.

Anyone care to suggest a camera or two, to get my search started.

As far as I know, no prosumer digicam has ever come close to the E-100RS' amazing 15 frames per second capture rate. The Minolta Dimage Z5 seems to come closest with its 17 frames in 1.6 seconds in the Progressive mode. The best any of the other ultrazooms can manage is around 4-5 frames per second, and some of those don't have image stabilization as the Z5 does. It would be the first ultrazoom I would look at if I were in your shoes. This is assuming you shoot more than one frame at a time with your Oly. Start your search by looking at the ultrazoom category in Steve's list of Best Cameras. Good luck.
