New to digital cameras. I'm looking for something easy to use which will fit into my pocket and 5 MB. Self timer and good red-eye reduction also important.

Casio S500 felt really good in my hands, but no self timer (any way around that?). The casio Exilim EX-Z57 gets better reviews as having a better pic and has a self timer. The S500 has electronic...shake compensation.

Panasonic Lumix's look promising (store I was in didn't have any to tryout). Reading reviews there is the Lumix DMC-LZ2 or the FX-7/8. The two lumix have better anti shake compensation.

Casio Ex-757(self timer) OR
Casio S500 (shake compenssation) OR
Lumix LZ2 (timer and shake compensaion) OR
Lumix DMC F8/7 (timer and shake compensaion)

I think the F7 or F8 is the way to go if it feels good in my hands. Or am I missing something?

Thanks for your time.
