Help guys.

I have the HP 130 nr large format printer and the inks are killing me £21 a cartridge (need six) and I have just replaced the printheads at £25 for 1 (need six). I get about 500 images depending on the size of prints from the printheads.

So here's my question, where the hell can I get cheap inks and cheap printheads for the bloody thing?

print heads should last longer than that mate

dont ever ever do a hard head clean, that kills them, its for emergency only.

they should be same heads as mine last ones i got where £10 of ebay, genuine hp....carts similar price.again genuine is your black 10 and colours 11? if so its same ink

there is also available cis system for mine.....so should be for yours.......i have one, but got some short date genuine ink and am using that at moment

Thanks Gary.

I've been doing a lot 24" x 36" and its killing the inks thats an average for the print heads.

I found the CIS kit but I cant find the printheads can you point me in the right direction mate.

Cheers

Mine are No.84 mate. I think thats why they are so expensive because the printer is still at the same price I paid for it last year.

Thanks anyway Gary.

mmm yeah £20 looks like best price on those, they do look very similar to my heads, but obviously they are not.

you need to work out how much it costs in ink and head use per image, besides paper so u have a raw cost before profit, then put that amount to onside out of every sale.........then u have the money for next ink/head combo

Can't help you on the print heads but i can on the inks and cartridges by reduceing the cost by 1/3 to 1/2 and still give you the same results as the OEM's

So contact me
