Is there anywhere on the internet already some info about a possible replacement of the wide carriage inkjet printer Epson 2200? (in Europe: Epson Stylus Photo 2100)

Is it meaningful to wait, or will it take another year?

I'm searching for a A3 photopaperROL printer.

Max.ca. 750 us.dollar

Happy Christmas everybody !!

See this:

It looks like the 2200 replacement is going to be close to the R800 just in the medium format. The question I have is if Epson is going to make this printer compatible with the velvet fine art or watercolor papers which the R800 supposedly is not.

That would be a snag for me, as I use both those papers and other acid free rag papers. But then the 2200 is still working just fine and I don't expect to replace it any time soon with another small format pinter.

Myself if I decided to more up, I'd be looking at something morelike the 7600/9600 so I could do large prints in-house.
