I amthe photographer fora golf competition here in about 6 weeks, and reckon I am going to print about 400 7x5 photos over the course of the day - I am taking the computer, printer et al with me for convenience. I have never previouslyquantified the ink consumption replacing when necessary the empty cartridges. However, I really need to have enough ink for the whole day since the profit of this event is for charity and lost prints mean lost money for them. I would hate to run out of ink! All advice welcome!

Thanks for that. I also took the - obvious if you think about it - option of using the Canon helpline and they advised me that 3 sets of cartridges would see me through with some to spare. We'll see and I'll let you know afterwards!
