Default S9000 Printing on A3

Whenever I try to print on A3 Photo Paper pro, my pictures all have a 1" - 2" inch border on the top of the page and a 2 inch or so border on the right? In the pictures that are shown in Steves review, there only seems to be a 1/4" border around the entire picture. I have tried printing from the Photrecord software as well as Microsoft Digital Image Pro. I told the programs the paper was A3 size.

The print preview in the printer driver makes it look like it is filling up the entire page.

The photo was taken by a DSC 717 and the size of the picture is 2560x1920.

The output is incredible looking, but small.

Default A3+ Printing

Hope this helps.
I have the same printer with the same problem.
I discovered I was trying to print borderless prints
which were then resized to some odd sizes with Very Large borders.
Try checking in setup, that you didn't select the Borderless Prints box accidently. I forgot that this printer doesn't print borderless.
It was the mistake I made sounds like it may be yours also.
Enjoy the Printer I love mine now that I'm figuring it out.;-)

According to page 170 of the instruction manual it shows that you should be able to print A3 borderless. I haven't tryed it yet myself as I have just got the printer myself. I have done the 4x6 prints borderless with the Canon paper with no problems using the Canon software.

On the s9000, you cannot print 13x19 borderless; only up to 11x17. It is on the i9100 that you can print borderless A3+.

While you can't print borderless on A+ or Super B paper, you can print borderless on A3.
Under Preferences, set page size to A3, click on borderless, then OK, then Fit to page.
If the photo is not of people, you can de-select 'Maintain aspect ratio', and you will fill out the borders.
Sometimes you will have to trade off using ' Specified size ' and Fit to page, but you will get borderless prints.
