AKA..butcher bird

Been hoping for a chance at one of these for a while. As luck would have it...had to be sittingon a powerline. Don't see them often enough to pass it up.

Nice capture of a tough species to photograph.... my only CC on this photo would be to set the EV to -0.3 or -0.7 so you could get the details in the white on the upper chest area... they seem a bit blown on my monitor. Keep up the good work. :-)

Know what you are saying about the highlight Mike. Little blown here too....was in a hurry to get this one taken. Actually had several...didn't think it would sit very long.

Your good enough and realize I wouldn't offer it if I didn't think you could handle it. You have a very good eye and I expect more very nice shots from you. :-)
