took a walk through a local park today, anda dragonfly was kind enough to offer me this mid-flight photo-op. Sigma 80-400, 400mm, 1/250 @ f7.1.

Great shot, squirel!!! So nice of him to pose for ya:GHey squirel, I have a question for you ... I think it was last w/e, I saw your follow-up to your "bubble shot" & I haven't been able to find it since. Would you mind posting a link to it here??? sorry for the incovenience but that is one of BEST ALL AROUND pictures that I have ever seen & have been wanting to show it to a couple of friends! Thanks in advance!

Three challenges are faced by us nature photographers: IE - Capture a flying swallow, capture a flying dragon fly, get a shot into National Geographic, and Squirl, you have managed 2 of the 3, What a feat !!!!!!!!!

Nice shot Squirl! These are very difficult to capture and I understand the patienceinvolved. I tried last year and only kept a few out of the thousands I took.
