Got out yesterday and was ready to pack up and leave til I heard the squacking of crows, quite often meaning raptor!!! So I stayed and waited for this osprey to fly in close enought for a few shots. Even with a crow chasing it, the osprey saw me and wouldn't fly too close towards me. 20D 500mm & 1.4x TC & tripod It was overcast so in a couple of pics I tried adding a little blue to the sky. Not sure it helps.

Another good chase scene Dennis. That poor light is the pitts.....had same situation for most ofmy Osprey shots a week ago.

Glad you stayed to capture these Dennis. They are marvelous. Number 3 is my favorite because of the eye showing and the position of the wings. Good job

Wonderful action shots!!. Overcast skys are the worst to shoot into. You did a great job.
