Default Birdie nam-nam (parent, children and some food)

A pair of birds has.. nested(?) on our porch, on top of the wall, i managed to take this by freehand and the built in flash. I took great care not scaring the parents (they were out looking for food)

And here is one of the parents (father, mother, i dont know) with the take out food, (fast food? sure is, damn these flies and bugs)

And here is something i just had to do.. I love birds and since he/she is (well.. unless someone has cheated on the other) the father/mother, i found it to be suiting.

That parent is really nice. I like the background, which is not distracting and gets the bird to really stand out.

I'm also a fan on the non-traditional poses, so I like the head turned like that.

Wow - the first one, with the youngsters in the nest. That really a great shot. I haven't seen a shot like that before. Great stuff.
