I've been behind on posting. these were taken in September. All at a distance except the last one. That day I saw7 different types of raptors; Sharpie, Cooper's, Harrier, Red-tail, Broadwing, and A turkey vulture. Only captured these 3.

1. My first broadwing capture from a good distance.

2. Northern Harrier gliding by, also from afar. I like Harriers but, don't see too many of them and this is a male which is the first male I've seen and captured.

3. Same harrier but soaring quite high which I thought was a bit unusual for a harrier.

4. LAstly, this Cooper's hawk flew across the swamp and caught me by surprise. Andf then really surprised me by landing 40 or so feet almost directly above me. I think it's a bit too bright or contrasty due to harsh lighting. But, I'll keep it. Unfortunately I clipped the tail.

I could have done that but, it doesn't depict the bird as it really is/was. thanx.
