Thanks! Doves are larger in size compared to , for example, the bulbul, leafbird, bluebird and munia, and so I can shoot them with the Nikkor 80-400I have. This time of the year is whenmigratory birds fly to the south, bypassing Hong Kong on their way. I'm still wondering what to buy to empower myself for the smaller creatures. For the time being, shooting the dove is fun to me, givingme much chance to get acquainted with bird shooting.

In another posting I did lately, I have put some more portrait shots I took this morning there for viewing. The sun was lazy then, as it was when I did the shooting for the 9shots posted above. I would like to shoot again on a day when the sun is out so that there will be backlighting to make thecontour of the birds more prominent. An example ofthatsilver-lining feelingis Shot 2 above.
