Default Bear cubs and Moose

Took a drive in the mountains yesterday and lucked out seeing lots of things to take pictures of. Nothing spectacular as photos go, but interesting subjects none the less.

The bear cubs were very young, and only about the size of a large housecat. I got a perfect chance to get a shot of mama bear in a bad mood, but didn't have the camera ready.

This cow moose gave me plenty of opportunity to take pictures. She was a good sport about me not letting her cross to the other side of the road.

Also, I put up a new Webshots album, click the link below:

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, those cubs are too cute!! I'm not sure if I'd stick around if mama was in a bad mood.

Kevin,
Thanks. I was ready to bail at the first sign of trouble with mama bear. She wasn't looking for trouble, just wanted her cubs safely behind her. I wish I'd have gotten a pic of the look she gave me when she was letting me know that I'd better stay clear. If looks could kill...
