I love the wingspan this shot reveals. I did a little ajusting to increase the contrast between the bird and the ocean.

Helpful hints are always appreciated, as my "in-flight" techniques are still at the infantile level, I'm afraid.

Hi Kita - This a magnificent shot. You really have captured a mood here !! Also, well done in not burning out the whites, and the deep blue of the sea contrasts very well with the gull.

You did a nice job.Only a couple of things I can see that might make some difference.

The crop on the right seems a little tight (no elbow room) You probably had a reason for that though.

Also it looks like you are about to quarter your shot towards the sun. If you can get the sun behind you or at 90 degrees you should pick up more color and detail. (if that is the intention)

I am by no means an expert though, :-)
