Up close and personal



I got within 6 feet of this Retailed Hawk eating his lunch. I took around 50 shots between 50 and 72mm at F4 &1/400. Happy New Years!!

Thanks for the kind words, great way to start off the New Year.

VP I thought of you today, my Grandson was beating a large branch at the base of a pine tree where a Red Tail was perched in an effort to make him fly off. He wouldn't budge, just looked at him, so much for the in flight shot.

That's wild Jeff, can't make them fly...LOL.... good shot. I have no problem getting them to fly:-)
