All very good shots - tack sharp. I especially like the way you were able to freeze the action in the last shot. :blah:

I've been drooling over that lens for awhile.... These are great shots for the first time out with it. Is the 1.4x tc a nikkor or 3rd party and how much of a crop did you do in the first frame?

Can't wait to see more!

Kent...I've been reading everythingI could find on this lens for a long time and finally broke down and bought it. I got the bogen gimbal head which centers the weight on a mono-pod and makes it much easier to use.

The converter is a Nikon.

The first pic. is a huge crop, about 20% of the frame. It's been raining about every day and I've only had one outting with the lens. I can hardly wait for some good lighting.
