Fantastic upclose photos! I'm Jerry and I plan on going to Alaska in this year. What do you like best about the Sigma 50-500 mm lens and what made you decide to purchase it? I shoot Canon and use a 10D 17-40, 24-70, 70-200 and am looking for a longer lens. Any reccomendations?

Jerry

Looks like you're getting off to a great start with the new lens, Roger.

Evening to YA!!! Jerry. Thank you for the nice comment about my photos.

The BIGMA is still very new I have only been out with it two times. So far I am a happy camper. The reason I bought it was not because of the mixed reviews but I went on line and looked at photos taken with it and decided it did a good job so I bought one.
