Default Young Swans

Took the 80-400 VR out for a walk in the woods today.

It was mid afternoon but the light was a bit strange.

Kevin,

The first photo is a class act. Great shot.
The second I'm not as enthusiastic about probably because I can't see the duck's eyes as well.

Aloha,
Selvin

Thanks guys!! Selvin I agree with you on the second one, considered using the flash but the whole "family" was in pretty close and I was concerned the flash would startle them.

Again, thank you all for the compliments, they really are appreciated!!

Kevin,

The first little swan is amazing! How close were you to the family.... aren't swans kind of aggressive? Good job!

Well, those shots were certainly worth waiting for.
Beautiful, as usual.
Although the first one is a closer shot of the swan, I really like the water formation in the second one and don't really mind that you can't see the eyes very well. I think it's the lighting in the second one (not as harsh) that appeals to me.

Wow, I love them, especially the drops on the swam.
WELL done.

Greetings,
