In Between Songs (K10D)

These were taken at Antelope Island Utah. I was sitting on a rock pretty
close to the water and here come this Meadowlark landed and sang a song.
After the song I took a few photos then damned if I didn't get to hear
another song. After the 2nd song a few more photos then he left.

I did tell him before he left that he might think about going on a diet.

After the 1st song

After the 2nd song

About the time the Meadowlark left this character showed up and let me
get a few photos.

Roger,
That second shot of the Meadowlark is superb! A beautiful composition with the vivid bird, subtle perch and clean backdrop.
Top notch!!
…Good detail on the crow too.

#2 is a great shot of the Meadowlark!I have been trying to get a good shot of one of those forever on something other than a powerline.

Also great exposure and detail on that all black Raven.....I'm guessing Raven due to size of the bill.
