Worked on some Gull shots yesterday. Here are a couple of them.#1 looks like a first winter Ring-billed Gull.....sounded like a laugh to me:-)

I like the second shot. Its a unique capture... although I can relate to Rogers observation on the first..:lol::lol:

Really nice shots; I , too, enjoy the crop of the 2nd pic. It breaks the rules that noobs like myself learn about, yet works very well.

There is a very pleasing qualtiy to these shots. nice balance of smoothness and texture, especially the pleated texture of the wings in the second one...great all around, love #2. donna
