Staggered out of bed this morning having being woken by the local birdlife screeching over my fig tree and thought well why not take advantage of a yard full of honeyeaters, silvereyes and pigeons LOL. i ended up with some nice shots of the honey eaters. They were all taken with my 70-200 L (i do love this lens) and Im happy to have caught some of the fighting that goes on over the fruit.

a bit of agro going on here

Look, cut it out

Note how the bird above holds the other with his outstretched foot

Thats it, you asked for it

well done, Julie! that 70-200L is a fine lens, no doubt, and the 30D is an outstanding tool as well, but it still takes skill behind the camera to get shots like these! excellent series!!

Hi Julie, these shots are some of the best I have seen here. You make good work of you camera and lens, and inspire me to try harder. DONNA
