I had more Red-wings cooperate yesterday than ever before. However, I quickly discovered that getting a good exposure with these black beauties is not that easy. Still, it was sure fun trying. Here are a few from my feable attempts.
Cheers,
Steve

This shot doesn't show the colors well, but I thought it was funny. It reminds me of the days of the old rabbit ear antennas and trying to fine tune the picture.

Except for the unfortunate cat-tail in the way I really liked this shot. He really puffed up every time he belted out his song.

Thanks Roger, Bob and Don. Yes, they were really vocalizing for the ladies. They looked like they were attached to an airpump and every time they'd sing someone would give them about 10psi. Too funny.

Steve,

The rabbit ear antenna shot is my favorite because it is so different. The rest of your captures are very good as well.

I haven't shot or posted much and have started to work with people who are at the novice level with digital photography to fill in my time when the weather is not that great as of late around here in the midwest. I plan on coming out to the Sacramento area in May.

I did get the Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8 ED AF-D Autofocus Lens with Tripod Collarjust yesterday. I plan to shoot tomorrow. If I have time I will post but it seems I'm just too darned busy.

I enjoy your shots. How do you like your D80?
