I missed this one!

WK7leung, this is a beautiful shot...very serene composition. The bird in flight with reflection combined with the water texture and color really add interest to the shot.
I'd frame this and put it on the wall.

The water concoursein the photois actuallydirty. The water ispartly from streams of the neighbouring hills and partly from an industrial zone upstream.

The Hong Kong government has done a great job in improving the water quality of this water concourse in recent years, like draggingaway the accumulated dirty mud at the bed of the stream so thatthe toxicity of the water can be lowered, the BOD levelraisedandthe water flowincreased.

In recent years,more aquatic lives can survive in the waters of this concourse despite the presence of effluents from different industries.

Egrets and herons like flocking together on both sides of the concourse for preys.

Here are two shots of reflection from the water surface for viewing.
