I love it when you post pictures of the animals from your part of the world. They are such a pleasure to behold. Your pictures are top notch beauties. What more can I say?
Excellent,
Steve

Thanks Bob, VP, Donna and Steve - I took my first steps and cut my eye teeth here at Steve's, most of what I have learned [and still learning] about photgraphy has been from you guys,so it's really an honor to post here. I havebeencontributing a fair bit on a local site, hence the scarceness of my postings here, but it's like coming back home when I have something new to add here. I'm going on vacation for 4 MONTHS, March through to end of June, including1 whole month at the KrugerPark, so I'm sure I'll have something new to add when I get back. I sold my business, and my wife and I are going to chill for a while before moving in to the next chapter [sounds like a dream !!]

Cheers from SA !!

Great series! I wish I was somewhere warm today. I've probably asked but would you mind sharing the equipment used?

Thanks

Thanks Jim - I use a Canon 20D with a Canon EF 100-400 lens [mainly] I think the top ele shot was with a Canon EF-S 17-85. I would love to get hold of the new Canon 1d Mark 3 !!!!!

Beautiful captures Jake! All great but I really like that second shot, great sharpness, clarity and color. The composition and herd placementreally draws one into the picture.
Well done!!
