Default My Shot of Dove with baby- I'm happy with this one

Well, I finally managed to get a decent shot (atleast I think so).
This image has not been altered in any way (just cropped).
I have a couple more good ones and will post once they're uploaded. This was taken with my G3.

Very good subjects. Can I suggest that if you've got Photoshop try applying a little more contrast and a touch (50-75%) of unsharp mask ?

Best regards and let's see some more.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely try that. I was just so excited that I actually got a shot of something other than a flower

checklg: It's not that I don't like taking pics of flowers and plants, I just would like to get better shots of actual living breathing subjects. With practice, maybe someday I'll get a pic half as good as Kevin G- He really takes wonderful photos of birds.

Frank: Thanks for the compliment. I was pretty happy with them

Here's another one- The babe is somewhat blurry and I wish I had been positioned at the side of the doves to see more. Oh well, maybe next time

I have a couple of other shots of the doves and I tried to sharpen and adjust the contrast a bit on the first two I posted.

Hi jazcan___

You have done some incredible work here...

The "look" in the eye of the mother dove and
her posture changes from frame to frame...

First one___Who is this Jazcan? Is she a threat?

Second one__Is my baby alright?

Third one__Yeah, kid...worms for dinner again.

It took great patience and stillness on your
part, Jazcan to create these photographs.

Thanks so much for sharing the series

Jazcan,

I know you are talking about when you want to graduate from flowers.
Lovely bird shots. The subject matter - mother dove's care for the young, overrides any imperfections due to technical problems etc.

aloha.
