Hi All,

I don't often shoot wildlife but I've just bought the Sigma 120-300 f2.8 so popped that on along with the 2x telecon and went for a play.

I'm getting problems with this lens back focusing so it is probably going back and it meant that I only got a couple of hits with these where focus was on or very close.

Here they are.

If you check out the exif you will notice it says 300mm f3.5 but they were really 600mm f7.1 as the telecon is not recognised by the camera.

Thanks for looking,

Mark

Focus looks good to me. Were these handheld at 600mm?

Thanks for sharing

Thanks guys.

Jeff, yes these were handheld at 600mm using the mono pod as a counter weight to assist balance which I have found works well. As for the focus/sharpness it is only that they have been reduced in size that they look this good I would not want them printed at over 7x5 really.
