Stalking Big Horn Sheep 1st of a series

After a couple of hours with the spotting scope and the binoculars I found some big horn sheep.

Here is where I found them. Top center part of the photo.

On the way back to the camera wagon I decided to take a break and figure out how I was going to get close enough for a few photos. Not a bad spot to take a break and scratch my head on how to get closer. I am up above Georgetown, Colorado

Here is a closer view of where they are.

About two hours later I found one of them. A early start in the morning and I might get some Big Horn Sheep Photos.

Hi Cool Breeze, thank for looking and commenting. IMHO you are correct about reminding one of Durango & Silverton Colorado.

Thanks Cool Breeze. I am working on some of the sheep photos now. I hope to get the 2nd part of the series up tomorrow.
