Right Place….Wrong Lens

I saw this hawk fly down to the stream, mounted on my camera was a 18-70mm lens.

Walked up within 6 to 8 feet before he decided to depart.

The invisible man trick again. :-) Neat to get that close to one at a stream like that.....and a good going away shot. I know you were wishing for the telephoto at that point.
