Common Merganser with a flounder it caught for breakfast.

Good catch, Don (you and the Merganser both) Shows how much I know about Mergansers....I did not know they caught sizablefish.

I didn't think birds would catch fish that large, but I guess they do. How did it eat the fish?

Hi Tom. He swam out of sight down a channel into the bush, so I don't know how he managed in ingest it. Probably one big gulp I would suspect.
