Either the guardian angel or your camera is capable of distorting the space/time continuum and and caught the bird coming or going again. Very, very neat catch!

I believe it was caused be a time warp continuum, I have seen it happen many times on Star Trek.

Hello Jim, you asked what we thought, so here's my honest opinion. In any photo I find out of focus background objects to be distracting and take away from the subject, especially if the look like they are overlapping in the image (even though there is space between them). I also try to follow the "rule of thirds" when composing images and don't center them. I think the in focus bird looks nice, however as a whole I think you can and will improve. I hope this cc helps and is well received.

Thank you Mike for your honest critique. You are absolutly right about the technical merits of this photo. My intent here was not to be technically correct but to show the viewer the thought that came across my mind as this photograph was taken. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't LOL.
