Default A few bird shots.

Taken today at a zoo.
The light was very difficult, or in the complete shade or in full sunlight.

All shot with the Canon EOS 10D

and this one with the HP-850

Greetings,
Frank

Frank, looks like you've been busy. I particularily like the third and fifth shots. Very striking!

Nice catches, have you tried a polarizer on the Canon? It will help control the specular highlights. Number 5 is excellent!!

Hi,

I do have a polarizer but only use it when photographing cars, I will play arround with it some.

Frank,

Like Tracy mentioned the parrot and peacock colors are lovely. That bird in the 4th shot looks as if he was chastising you for invading his privacy. HIs expression makes the shot, forget the lighting difficulties.

Aloha

Hi,

I guess you mean the second shot .

I think he/she was impressing his/hers fellow bird.
It was a beautiful site, but not as funny as the racoon who under the attention of a whole adience well,,,,,,, started playing with himself and VERY Much enjoyed it.

Greetings,
Frank
