After months of mostly dismal skies I had a blue sky day this past Sunday and a chance to catch one of my favorites. Wasin bright sun high overhead but I wasn't going to let danger of a washed out photo stop me:-)

Scissor-tailed Flycatchers









These guys will be around for awhile so I will have more opportunities for better angle of light.

Thanks for the comment, Greg. These birds are pretty fast and the length of them makes it a challenge to get all of it in the frame and get detail.
