My friend Woody & the moon

I went down to visit my friend Woody and notice the moon so I told Woody stay right where you are so I can get the moon in the photo. As usual Woody was cooperative.

Towards the end of last year he got to the point he didn't mind be being around. I talk to him when I am getting pretty close and now he just looks over at me and stays put. My friend WOODY is one cool fellow. VP thanks for commenting and for looking.

Thanks for looking and for taking the time to comment.

Pentax K10D with my Sigma 50-500 lens. For the close ups I used a tree stump to help steady the camera.

Thanks mcliu for making me smile.

Lie of the day - I have invented a woodpecker call that ALL woodpeckers respond to.

The truth - I just got lucky
