spotted this little lady while prowling the edge of a marsh in the midst of a Seattle park (the freeway was a hundred yards away). these thrushes aren't as common as they used to be (around here, not much is), so i was glad to have a photo of one to add to my collection... :G 30D, 400mm, 1/640 @ f7.1...

Very nice catch. The varied thrushes are quite abundant around here, but they don't like showing themselves much. Seem to stay high up in the cottonwoods around here........D.
