This has got to be one of the best shots of a once-wild-now-domesticated chipmunk

Well maybe semi-domesticated suits "Rocky" better. (Ifhes got a name, he's definitely on his way to a semi-domesticated way of life.)

I'm just not too sure that either one of us is very domesticated. The ants that I keep to clean my kitchen counters might be a clue.
(I don't think Martha Stewart would ever consider me "domesticated" either.)

A little care and caution does often get a friendly or at least more trusting response from "wild" animals. From what I've read (what's your opinion?) the trust is limited to individuals and not all humans.

About the ants to clean your counters--you may need some roaches from Houston to handle the larger scraps. They are a little faster than ants. Be glad to ship some.

That Rocky is a charmer. I think Martha Stewart would give you a pass after seeing his picture.
