the eggs hatched sometime during the last couple of days, and i managed a few photos this morning... had to use manual focus, because there was so much "stuff" in the way, the AF was constantly locking onto the wrong things. in these two shots, mom had just returned with breakfast, and the mouths popped open the instant she touched the nest... 30D, 400mm, 1/500 @ f5.6.
