Thanks, NHL and Jeff. I have yet to be able to get much detail on the breast of the males. They are pretty smooth.

Wonderful capture. Perfect exposure, great details and razor sharpness. 2 would have been even better if the focus were on the eyes. The twisting back posture was stylish and smacked of portraiture photography.

Thanks for the comments wk7leung. I agree about the 2nd one.....just one of thosetwitches I get sometimes. Unfortunately it was the only chance I got of it with the grass.

Beautiful VP! The 2nd one looks like a Red Wing BB female from the back side-except the head of course. Nice shooting!....cheers...Don
