i dont know the name of the bird..its def not the bush sparrow(or whatever they call it)

i found this in a marshland along with herons etc..But the sigma at 600mm on a 5D awes me.

the problem with my windows is it shows one way in photoshop while shows totally different in windows..i hate it..

looks majorly sharped here....but looks perfect in PS ....

i am using the RGB color space. Whati see in phoitoshop is not what i see it say paint, or microsfot picture viewer or internet Explorer

Even in websites..

In PS the fotos look way different

Silly question perhaps, but have you set Photoshop to use sRGB. Odds are good that if it's different than everything else you've mentioned, it's set to AdobeRGB or something else.

Hah!Oh, the awkwardness of youth!The first photo almost looks like you stuck the head of a downy duckling on the body of something else! I don't think you will ever get that scruffball sharp - too much baby fuzz (nestling down) still on it. Were there any Yellow-headed Blackbirds around? That would be my guess --recently out of the nest. Wonderful shots!

Check your colourspace profile...Photoshop saves images in Adobe RGB colourspace by default but Windows saves images in sRGB by default so that they look ok on the internet.

Sowhen saving images from Photoshop always make sure you save them in sRGB colourspace or they will appear to lose gamma andcontrast when viewed on Windows or the internet...Which could also make them look less sharp.
