Amile or sofrom the house is a Peninsula and home to some Osprey. I counted three! They have a nest above a football field which I find funny since they don't care for people all that much. I arrived about 9:00 am, and picked this time of day to get the angle and lighting right.

At first there were two at the nest, then one flew off. Later I noticed two hunting while one remand at the nest. As the two flew in circles closer, the one at the nest called out. Being new at this I tried to get the flight shots of them (at the wrong shudder speed). Sure hate when that happens:sad:.

Anyway one returned carrying a huge dinner for two. Hung out on a telephone pole before taking home the meal. ENJOY!!!

I was there yesterday afternoon for about an 1.5 hours. Realized that the light was getting behind the bird. So I went back this morning. Waited around an hour to get those shots. Some of the really good action happened out of my range. Watching the Osprey dive into the water from 60' up. That was really cool.

Here is the only picture from yesterday, and it sucks. Thats the diffence with light for me. Life is full of lessons! lol
