This fellow landed maybe 15-20 feet away, and I couldn't fit him in the frame. Sometimes wish I had a zoom lens instead of a prime. Got some closeups though.......cheers........Don

Stunning picture. Almost 3-D. Love the incredible sharpness. That's a keeper and a framer.

What equipment did you use. Lens, Camera.

very nice portrait shot. i like the sharpness of the heron in front of the out of focus lillies as a background. this weekend i also had a few times where i wish i could have backed up more or zoomed out. go figure!
