Hi - guess this pheasant was just as surprised as I was.

Nikon D50 + Sigma 50-500 @500mm, aperture f/9, shutter speed 1/400, ISO 800 & tripod mounted.

beautiful shot herman. i wish we had these pheasants around here. they make for such colorful photos.
