I spotted an Osprey's nest while boating and approached it. Just one osprey seemed to occupy itbut as I drew nearer the shoreline tree the nest was on, it flew out of it's nest and flew around me a bit. This is the bestphoto from that memorable experience. A beautiful bird! Cheers, Dan

Nice shot, but she is really giving you the once-over -- you didn't have a feather in your hat, did you?

That is a tough shot, the underside of a bird aginst the bright sky. Great capture.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I tookseveral shots of this wondrous bird and managed two good photos. The rest were over / under exposed as I kept adjusting based on the bird's height and position relative to the sun. I was very happy with this one. Cheers, Dan
