Terrific. Like being pasted on a backdrop. Must be from a wide angle, hinted bythedrastic barrel effect on the body ofseagull. Seldom to see bird shots taken with a wide angle.

Neat effect that you created with the wide angle lens and cooperative seagull. He does look like the owner of that particular rail.

Quite a good shot. I too like the wide angle effect. A slightly blurred background gives a sense of place we so often miss in wildlife closeups. May I suggest changing the title to (im)posing gull.
