Falcon, Hawk & Owl Portrait

I was at the State Park putting on a wildlife Photography Workshop for the OspreyFest festival. We had some very special guest attend the festival this year from the Santa Fe Raptor Center. The guests were kind enough to pose for some photos. These are injured or abandoned birds that are now used for education programs. They were used in 76 programs this year reaching 3200 children and 7100 adults.

It is organizations like this that help out our wild friends in need and so I decided that even if they are not Wild Free Ranging a little publicity about them would be a good thing.

Great shots Roger! That's a good program it sounds like. Nice to see them taking the effort to teach youngsters about preserving wildlife. We lose so many species of creatures every year on this planet......cheers.......Don
