I have a setup consisting of many flowers amongst feeders in my backyard. I have one feeder under a large Oak tree and when the sun is at the right direction I get an image that looks like it has a black backdrop. Sometimes I'll use a little flash as well to darken the backside of my shots.



Nikkor 300mm F/2.8 ~ taken at F/5.6 ~ ISO 320 ~ 1/500 sec ~

Very nice! I've been trying to photograph hummers for six years. Occasionally I'll get a fairly decent shot, but not quite that good yet.
