I caught this one crossing an open area with it's catch. Although these birds are known to take snakes, this is the first time I have seen it in person after a lot of years of being around them. Appears to be a grass snakeit caught.

you must have quite a population of road runners in your neighborhood. you always seem to get such great shots of them. that's quite a snake it's eating too.

Thanks, Hung. A rare shot but not well received.

The Roadrunners are not uncommon around here but are like the Crested Caracaras I see from time to time.....hit or miss.

Well captured. I have never seen one of the kind in Hong Kong. His looking back to the right is what that makes the shot balanced and artistic.
