I went for a drive after work just before sunset and came across this Swainson's hawk. I was surprised at the change in colours in the plummage. Looks like the farmer will be harvesting soon.

such a beautiful bird. fantastic captures killdeer! number 2 makes me laugh because it looks like a puff ball.
