Very nice shot Don. My ony complaint is you should have reached over and wiped its beak.

You always take such pretty bird pictures. I admire them greatly.
One day, maybe, I'll take one half as nice.

Right now, I practice on a pair of GBH that live at the pond near my house. We start off at opposite sides of the pond. I get about 1/4 of the way around (trying to sneak) and they fly off to the other side of the pond. This dance can go on for hours. They seldom fly away - they just fly to the other side. I get worn down before I can get anything halfway decent. Ah, but one of these days....!

Nice shot!!!!! What variety of sparrow is it?

Tigerlady, keep going to thepond around the same timefor awile and eventually thet seem to get used to you. That used to ahppen to me all the time but, gradually GBHs got a bit used to me so I cold approach closer and closer.
