Thanks for the kind words :-)



It was late in the day with very little light, hence the flash. I was using center weight metering and –7EV trying not to blowout the breast feathers and this is what I got.

I was very close, about 6 to 8 feet away. I had to back off from 300mm. There isn't much of a crop, I cropped it to print a 8x10.
