This one seemed to be a little curious....unlike most of the ones I run across. Maybe it just wanted to show off the "fingernails".

Good job - I find Redtail hawks are difficult to find and even harder to get close to!

Thanks for looking...Bynx, Jim, Hung, and Jeff.

One could almost feel the heat of that look for sure. They are fairly common here, more so in fall and winter. Pretty skittish most of the time but I have managed to get close to a few of them.
